Rain at Lake Erie pushed back all the racing so the 40 lap feature for the Late Models didn’t get the green flag tonight until 9:50 PM following a 100 lap feature for the touring series of the Outlaw Late Models. Glenn started from the 9th position in the 40 lap feature. First caution was on lap 4 and Glenn had moved the #32 Show King into 8th. Back to green and after several laps of green flag racing Glenn steadily moved through the field making it to the second position by the next caution on lap 23.
Glenn raced hard with the current points leader and fought for the lead through several restarts on lap 28 but maintained 2nd the checkered flag on lap 40.

Heat Race
Glenn started the 10 lap heat from the pole position. caution was out on lap one and Glenn continued to lead. back to green and Glenn kept the lead but after some racing with the #0 on lap 3 Glenn slipped into the 2nd position which he held through the remaining laps and through the checkered.
Four of the Nextel Cup Drivers were at Lake Erie Speedway tonight and took to the track for two ten lap heat races in the late models. Johnny Sauter of the #70 Yellow Transportation HAAS/ CNC Racing Team stepped into the #32 Snow King/Gault Heating & Cooling Late Model and finished 1st and 4th.
Feature
Glenn started the 40 lap feature in the 10 th postion. Caution flag was already out on lap one and Glenn had gained 3 postions being scored 7th. At the green and back to racing Glenn maintained 7th. Glenn slipped back a few positions to 9th while carefully trying to manuever through slower traffic but by lap 11 had regained them and was back to 6th. On lap 17 in turn 2 Glenn had to get on the brakes hard to avoid another competitor in front of him. He was then struck from behind and spun which in turn brought out a caution. On the restart the #32 was scored in the 19th position. Back to racing only for a few short laps when caution and red flag was displayed on lap 24 after Glenn moved into 17th. Back to steady racing on lap 25and by lap 33 Glenn was into tthe top 10 in the 9th position. Glenn took the checkered flag in the 9th position. Another tremendous effort expended by team and driver.

MAARA Event 4
Heat Race
Glenn entered the MAARA series event #4 third in points. He began the evening in the first Heat Race in the 5th position. Caution flag waved already on the first lap for an incident that eliminated some of the cars form the Heat. Back to green in the short 10 lap sprint and Glenn raced hard and earned the 4th position on lap 8 and maintained it through the checkered which earned him a spot in the top twelve and a chance to draw for the pole.
Feature
Glenn drew 10th in the frisbee draw on the front stretch in pre-race activities. The racing had barely statrted and the first caution waved and found Glenn in the 12th position. Back under racing Glenn moved into 10th and staye between there and 11th until the next caution at lap 14. The crew decided to bring Glenn into the pits at this time and make some adjustments. Glenn restatred 18 on lap 18. By lap 34 caution Glenn was 14th but the car was still not handling right. Glenn made another pit stop for adjustments and returned to the track 17th. At the green Glenn steadily picked off positions and was 13th by lap 45 and 12th by lap 52 maintaining it through the lap 55 caution.Back to green at lap 57, Glenn moved into the top 10 by lap 65 and took 9th on lap 66. He gained the 8th position after a caution and restart on lap 88. The last caution was on lap 94 and Glenn maintained the 8th postition through. the checkered flag.
The exhausted driver brought the ill handling car home to an 8th place finish after once again coming from the back several times to do it. The top notch effort put forth was monumental by team and driver.
